The Seminar on “The Home Care In the UK and Beyond” Was Deivered in Nicosia

The seminar titled ”Home Care in the United Kingdom and Beyond” organized by the Elderly Rights and Mental Health Association, was held in Nicosia and delivered by our speakers Niyazi Enver and Şenel Arkut. We learned about the human-centered approach in the United Kingdom, where home-based services are provided to older adults and persons with disabilities, protected by law and grounded in human rights and humanitarian values. We also learned how state policies are implemented in the UK through local governments as public services for the people.
