Participants in ECOAGE Communication & Leadership Skills Workshop discover leadership qualities

Well done to our 43 workshop participants who discovered their hidden leadership qualities on their road to becoming environmental mentors!

The Association of Elderly Rights and Mental Health in collaboration with Girne University 60+ Refreshment University organised Communication and Leadership Skills Workshop on Thursday as part of the ECOAGE Project, which is implemented in partnership with the Cyprus Youth Empowerment Foundation and Norway University College for Green Development.

After getting to know each other, the participants explored their leadership skills, how to communicate better and how to meet their needs as volunteers. They got into heated debates on environmental issues in our ‘values line’ exercise!
Thank you to Assistant Prof. Dr. Emete Toros and University of Kyrenia for their support in this activity.

The ECOAGE project benefits from a grant under the Active Citizens Fund Cyprus programme, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.
