Chairperson gives seminar at Near East College

Near East College sociology students attended a seminar on issues faced by the elderly and people with mental health disorders in North Cyprus, held by Dr. Hatice Jenkins the head of the Association of Elderly Rights and Mental Health. Dr. Jenkins informed students about both the social problems and lack of law regulations for the care homes. The students gained insight to social projects aimed at helping to improve the quality of life of both the elderly and people with mental disorders.
